Heat Action Day Report: Climate Change and the Escalation of Global Extreme Heat

Summary/Abstract

This study, written by researchers from World Weather Attribution, examined dangerous heat waves in the past 12 months. It finds that, in that timeframe, 4 billion people experienced at least 30 extra days with extreme heat and climate change made extreme heat days at least twice as likely.
